WELCOME TO ROOM 6!
Working in Room 6 is an adventure and a lot of fun! This is the reception room and throughout the year the class is changing as new children start school.

I am Martin Hodge and I enjoy working with students and families as they start school. We begin Term 3 with 23 students and 2 teachers. We are very pleased to welcome Mrs Kirsten Reid back to Hutt Central School from a year's teaching in China.
We hope that you have an interesting and enjoyable term 3. This term our Social Studies Inquiry focus will be exploring journeys. We will begin the term with a study and art focus on legends about Maui. Later we will be discovering the journeys our family members made when they came to live in New Zealand. For some families this journey was made a long time ago and for others the journey was made very recently.
